Nominations are open for the 2020 Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards. Now in their fourth consecutive year, the Awards recognise inspiring Australian educators who are evolving their teaching practices to improve the lives of their students and their local community.
Kylie Macfarlane, General Manager Corporate Responsibility at Commonwealth Bank, said the Teaching Awards, established in partnership with national education charity Australian Schools Plus, are an opportunity to acknowledge educators on a national stage.
“The Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards celebrate and showcase the positive role our teachers play in the learning and development of our children – an incredibly important and fundamental role in our communities,” Ms Macfarlane said.
