Lismore City Council’s fourth annual Upcycle Your Holidays event is coming up on Thursday, 11 October 2018, offering free fun during the school holidays.
Visitors will be able to explore, build and create in a series of fun activities while learning more about recycling and our local native plants and animals.
“This is a wonderful day for local families and is a free family event,” Environmental Strategies Officer Barbara Jensen said.
“We are very proud of our recycling facility and the many ways we recycle our community’s waste, from glass and organics to polystyrene and problem household items.
“People who visit us here and take our tours are surprised at what they learn and how complex and interesting waste can be.”
Upcycle Your Holidays is a great outdoor event with fun activities for young and old.
- Tour our amazing recycling facility
- Operate a garbage truck
