Book-lovers and authors will soon descend on USQ Toowoomba for the annual USQ Bookcase Writers’ Festival.
Over three jam-packed days, attendees will enjoy a range of literary events designed to indulge a passion for writing, blogging, illustrations and more.
USQ Vice-Chancellor Professor Janet Verbyla said USQ Bookcase was a wonderful opportunity for the local community to join with the University.
“The USQ Bookcase Writers’ Festival showcases the achievements and knowledge of USQ alumni authors and writers in a very interactive way,” she said.
“With such a diverse range of workshops and panels on offer, as well as a number of very special guests, we look forward to welcoming a big crowd to the campus.”
Walkley-award winning investigative journalist Amanda Gearing will be the 2017 USQ Bookcase keynote speaker.
